While driving to get my coffee this morning, I just happened to glance at my odometer. I'm not sure why, I usually don't pay too much attention to it. I have a sticker on my window that tells me when I am due for my next oil change, but since that happened yesterday I know I have another 3000 before that is due.
Glance down I did and the numbers were: 121208
I have a weird pattern fetish. I love it when things randomly fall into a pattern...even if it is only temporary.
Things like when you are in the turning lane behind a few cars and for a brief second all of the turn signals happen to blink at the same time just give me the weirdest little thrill.
So - these numbers spoke of possibilities to me.
If I drive 4 more miles...my odometer will read: 121212
And that is exactly what I did.

It took me decades to break that habit and now I know I'm not going to be able to drive this morning without checking my odometer for number patterns.
Doh!
I haven't reached 100,000 miles yet...and my car is 10 years old. That's the beauty of having a home office and being a homebody.
