Is it 1-20-2009 yet?
The shrub had this to say about our economy today:
"There is no question about it, Wall Street got drunk. It got drunk and now it's got a hangover. The question is, how long will it sober up and not try to do all these fancy financial instruments."
Wait...what?
Oh...there's more:
"We've got a housing issue. Not in Houston. Evidentally not in Dallas, because Laura's over there trying to buy a house today."
Apparently Laura doesn't want to live in Crawford anymore (cue in Eva Gabor singing - "I get allergic smelling hay") - it's time to move out of Green Acres for more fancier duds. Shrub remarked: "I like Crawford, unfortunately after 8 years of asking her to sacrifice,(honey..she's been sacrificing since the day she met you) I am no longe the decision maker. (ummmm...was he EVER?) I did tell her, 'Honey, we've been on government pay now for 14 years, go slow.'"
