The snap trap got it.
The little thing was about as big as my thumb and so darn cute.
I feel wretched now.

I don't deal with this stuff at all. We have one cat who is a mouser (the other cat just watches) but I cry when she catches one. I try to get the mice away from her and put them outside when I can. I would never survive in the wild.
The white footed deer mice are adorable.
Eddie leaves their heads on the doormats. YUM!
OH, I hate doing harm to tiny mice, but when they leave their territory for mine, all is fair...
If the adorable mice didn't leave their little calling cards all over the house I'd probably live with them. Perhaps we can look into litter training?
