Get out and Vote!!!

My vote has been cast. I voted for Obama. He's such a nice guy though and being President of the United States is such a crappy job, I almost felt bad pushing that button.

The live blogging will start tonight around 8:00 PM Eastern time. I have to travel to South Carolina and get situated in my hotel. M will be blogging here from NJ and her friend the Flying Wallenda will keep her company while I'm away.

I am going to open up the comments section so that anyone can post and I will entertain opposing views as well because everyone has a right to their own opinion. If anyone gets nasty or foul - I will delete your ass - be sure of it!

Happy Election day all!

I'm glad you voted for Obama!
How long were the lines in NJ?

Hey Finn - at 7:00 AM they aren't that long at all. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes!

I'll have to join you when I get up in the morning, Shazza as I'll be fast asleep when you start.
I wish I could vote for Obama but you Colonials are still sticking stubbornly to your pesky independence so I couldn't.
See you later! I'll bring beer.

Shaz - I can't vote, obviously, but that is perhaps a good thing because I wouldn't know where to cast my vote. I don't like McCain's pasty-faced, smugness, but I have an inkling of distrust for Obama as well. There's something about how slick he is, but perhaps I'll be proven wrong (I do hope so). Best of luck to your fine nation as you go to the polls. I hope your result is better than ours. Ugh!

P.S. I know you're not thinking about anything else, but when you want a diversion, swing by Blasts from the Past for my post: Roller Derby Queen? As if!

Yea! Obama! I'm so glad! I do like him. It will be fun to be part of history if nothing else. I think Michelle will be an excellent white house mutha. (I mean this in the nicest possible way) I wouldn't mess with her. I'd put her up against Hillary anyday!
