Blog Face Twits

You probably know at least one.

You may BE one.

These poor people are so busy checking their Blogs and Facebook accounts and updating everything that they do on Twitter that they waste away many, MANY hours of the day.

It's OK to admit it.

You are NOT alone.

I'm thinking of starting a blog just so I can get in touch with other Blog Face Twits of similar interest.

Kind of a support group.

Maybe more of a general rant about whatever the hell you want to rant about.

Maybe it will just sit here and be a comfort to those of us who know we have an addiction, but don't want to do anything about it and now you have ONE MORE place in the Internet to let your voice be heard!

As you can tell...I haven't worked out all of the details yet...but I'm working on it! I'm open to suggestions!

If anyone wants to volunteer their time and be a "Team Member", I'm taking applications.

Qualifications:

  • You have to have at least 1 blog (or have always wanted a blog but were afraid to jump into the blog waters all by yourself) , and a Facebook and Twitter account.

  • You should be humorous and not take yourself seriously.

  • Remember - we are there to support other Blog Face Twits and let them know they are not alone.

(I may make up other qualifcations as I go...but for now I think that is all I need)

Anyone game?

My name is LG, and I am a Blog Face Twit. Yes, it's true. I have a couple of blogs, a Facebook page, and a Twitter account (which I actually use for work, but it's still a time suck!). I'm out, and I'm proud.

Damn! I only have a single blog and no Facebook, Twitter (what on earth's Twitter?) or any of those things.
I feel suddenly inadequate.

LG - Welcome! Welcome! So glad you are here! You are among friends!

Dive - it's OK. We understand. Can I asked you to stay after the session for a "private talk?"

No Twitter here. But, I do spend entirely too much time, either reading blogs or, writing one (only one).

Yes I blog (read much & write some). No Facebook. I tried to Twit, I think I sprained something. No Twitting for me. I dare not Twit again.

Will there be cake at the BFT support group meetings?

I'm not quite as bad as I used to be about wasting hours and hours, and since I'm afraid I'd fall off the wagon if I joined the new group, I should probably pass on it. I don't have Facebook, although I am the only member of my entire in-law clan, and they are starting to resent it.

Vic - Isn't it amazing how fast time flies when you're on this thing? Work totally interferes with my blogging time.

OD - Sorry to hear about your Twitter injury...it can be a dangerous activity. There will definitely be cake!

Scout - Oh...OK. We understand. Perhaps we can hire you from time to time to play a little background music at our Year End Holiday Event! (YEHE for short!)

3 blogs (2 of which dormant), a website in planning, and a brand new twitter account. Am I in?

Facebook sucks, at least in my book.
hey, lg, couldn't find you on twitter. what's up with that?

VC - Ok...what's a plurk?

McC - Welcome! Welcome! Always good to see a fellow twit! ;)
