We are off tomorrow to California for my brothers wedding!

We will be there until Sunday.

M just sent me the weather forecast: ...RAIN AND WIND EXPECTED THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY ACROSS THE SAN FRANCISCO AND MONTEREY BAY AREAS...

The wedding is in San Jose - which is right in between Moneterey and San Francisco.

oh...and not just a little rain: A MAJOR CHANGE IN THE WEATHER PATTERN IS EXPECTED TO TAKE PLACE IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC STARTING THURSDAY. STRONG ZONAL FLOW IS EXPECTED TO BRING A SERIES OF PACIFIC STORMS INTO THE REGION...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL AND STRONG WINDS.

The last time I was in California, which was about 22 years ago, it rained 8 out of the 10 days I was there.
