Drippin' with Cheeze

Remember those drippy, sappy, cheezy songs of the 60's and 70's. They told heartbreaking stories and built up to a climactic ending?

We all hate to admit it but we know all the words to these melodramatic musical musings and then find we can't get them out of our heads long after the song has played on the radio.

Today will be the first installment of "DRIPPIN' WITH CHEEZE"

For the next several Friday's I will post the lyrics to some of my favorite cheezy songs.

We need to start this off right and cheeze just wouldn't be dripping without a little teenage heartbreak. No other song illustrates this better than: Run Joey Run by David Geddes. This song depicted teenage pregnancy long before Madonna came around and with a horrible and tragic ending to boot!!!
