Can't trust that day.

Ugh...Ok - I am so waaaaaaaaaaaay behind the 8 ball unfortunately. I had all these great plans to get all of this work done this weekend, but the weather didn't cooperate. It was a freakin' gorgeous weekend and I can't sit down here in my basement knowing a beautiful day is out there waiting for me to explore it.

so - no work got done.

The pups and I went to one of our favorite parks and explored new trails. I think I actually managed to wear them out a bit, which isn't easy to do with Westies.

Then I took a drive up to Washington Crossing State Park and the headed up towards Stockton, NJ. Found a very pretty art gallery and walked along the D&R canal and took some pictures. (bear with me...I still use a film camera, so I have to wait til the get developed).

Chatted with a few folks I met along the way. One gentleman, looked to be in his 60's possibly 70's rides his bike along the canal all the time. He usually puts in about 50 miles each time!!!

Ok...I'm at least 20 - 30 years younger than him and I feel like a sofa slug. M and I are doing that trail when she gets back!!!

Alas - the weekend is over and now I'm plowed under with work. I am vowing not to come out of my dungeon until lunchtime today so that I can seriously get a big chunk of work done.
