I don't groan, but I get pops and cracks from various joints in my body. Not sure which one is better or worse ...

I found your blog from McCutch's ... nice to meet you. :)

lol :)

I can easily do the joint cracking and I'm only 23!

@lg: pilates helps against the pops and cracks though in case you want to get rid of it.

@shazza: I don't really know what helps against the groaning. groan silently in your mind maybe? at least then no one will know :)

McC - I didn't groan, squeak, pop, click or grunt when I was 23 either!!! (oh...you are my kids ages)

They say the 40's are when your body goes through all kind of freaky changes: vision goes, new and exciting gastronomical developments happen (add this to the caucophony of sounds eminating from my body), the brain plays weird trips with your memory, things like blood pressure and cholesterol levels are a part of your daily vocabulary! M remarked at our medicine cabinet the other day - she said we have an "old person" medicine cabinet.

It's sad...but it's true.

Mentally - I'm still 23, so it's only the physical things that actually make me feel old. Yesterday I was driving home with the windows open singing Love Shack at the top of my lungs. That right there tells me my brain hasn't caught up to my body yet!!!
