I like technology...I really do. I have a pretty nice updated computer, a blackberry from work, your average cell phone that takes pictures and movies and an iPod. I do not get the blue tooth thing though. Maybe because I haven't used one, I am not fully versed on it's potential...I don't know, but being a Star Trek freak when I was a kid, these things just make me think of Lt. O'Hara and that thing sticking out of her ear or a cyborg who is part human and part machine. They just unnerve me.
One of my kitchen estimators came in and was busily blue toothing away with his boss about the price of the job. You see people walking around talking to themselves and thinking they are suffering from some poor mental illness only to find that they have one of these things attached to their ear.
I was on a plane once and this guy wore his blue tooth during the entire flight! Does he have blue tooth separation anxiety or something?
I just think they look silly...but that's me...some people think they are ubber cool and I'm the nerd for not liking them. Different opinions are what make the world go 'round I suppose.

hello Shazza, thanks for dropping by. I agree on the "weakness in me" version.. how could I have missed it???
by the way I have to admit something after reading your post.. I work the blue tooth, email, camera mp3 player, recorder everything from my phone
hanging my head in shame..
HA! Not to worry ritu - it just means you are more "HIP" than I am!
lol not HIP at all trust me..
just an addict
Ok, I am NOT ashamed. I have blue tooth. I rarely use it cause it falls off and it's annoying. Apparently my ears are located too close to my head, as I imagine that they design the damn thing based on the average ear and the ability to fit it comfortably. However, my purchase was based on the ability to drive and talk on the phone (stop laughing Shazza) without being stopped by a police officer and rec'ing a ticket. I have 2 teenagers. I am on the road frequently ( not lying in it but driving on it). I feel anxiety if I don't have the ability to harass my teenagers at any given moment.
Oh and BTW, it's TOOTH, not teeth. I thought your comments were going to be related to eating a cake with blue icing......geesh, you are soooooo oooooold. and you have a birthday soon!!!!! happy birthday loser......
YoYo - I may be having a birthday soon, but you are STILL OLDER THAN ME!
Age is subjective in mind and attitude. I KNOW it's blue TOOTH and not Teeth! geesh. But I suppose I should be kind to you, afterall, you are trying your best....you poor dear.....
