A while ago I had mentioned that I finally brought my camera with me to work when I was in Philly. I took some very random shots and I finally got the damn filmed developed.
This first set is my drive in. For some reason I thought it would be fun to take pictures going 75 mph on the NJ Turnpike.
Hey...people text message, I take pictures.
(Kids, don't try this at home!)
This is the last stretch I have on the NJ Turnpike - traffic was light that day. It's a very long and boring drive.
I'm gaining on him.
Which way?
Now which way?
My long flight down. I took the stairs just so I would get a little exercise each day.
This is the U.S. Customs Building in Philadelphia. It's right across the street from where I used to park. It's a pretty cool building.
Approaching Ben Franklin Bridge
Over Ben...
Local Fox Noise Channel. ( I think I'm on TV every morning)
A cold and blustery day at Penn's Landing.
I turn down 2nd Street
The lovely parking garage where my little car hung out while I was at work.
Over Ben...
Under Ben
Daily News Guy - Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays this poor dude from sellin' his papers!

You took those shots while you were driving! You must have a Guardian Angel on your shoulder!
Nice photos - it's fun to see your environment, even though I guess it's all changed now.

You will miss Philly. I still miss it at times. It's hard to believe it has been twenty five years since i lived there.
Wow! "Counting the cars on the New Jersey turnpike …"
I have always loved that song, Shazza and now at long last you have brought it to life!
Thank you so much.
And what a great photopost!
Happy new year to you and M (and the dogs)!
also - thx for the photos, I love road trips or everything having to do with driving.
I take pictures while driving but mine never really look that good. they're all blurry, which makes me look like i go 200mph in a residential area...
You know, in those shots, Philly doesn't look so bad. And then I remember that the first time I ever saw a car on fire was in Philly.
Wow Shazza! That kinda blows me away. I always thought of Philly as a really busy big city. Both Seattle and Portland have at least 4 times the traffic off peak. You'll have to do more photo logs, they are very interesring.
