More errands to do

Does anyone have a weekend where they just lay about lazily on their couch and do absolutely nothing or am I the only idiot that finds herself running around trying to do all of the thinks that don't get done during the week?

I move into my little home away from home tomorrow and my boss wants me in the office by 8:00 AM to go over a quote that me and my big mouth got us into. That means I have to leave my house by 6:00 AM to make sure I get there on time, which means I have to get my ass up at 4:30.

Bloody hell.

Then there is the packing to do. I need to make sure I have enough clean clothes and underwear for a whole week, plus pack up some food to hold me over until I find a nice grocery store.

Tonight I'm going to make chili and will freeze a bit of it so I can take it with me for the week.

The plans for today are to: walk the dogs, go grocery shopping, laundry, give the dogs a bath, packing.

Hmmmmm, I think there is time in there for a nap!

good luck with that nap, Shazza. And good luck getting your arse out of bed at 4:30 am.

If your name were presbyfruit, you would ALWAYS find time for a nap!

Good luck tomorrow. :)

I do not envy you one bit! So where is your home away from home now? The Best Western? The start of this job is sounding quite stressful. I hope it gets better.
I always run around like a nut on weekends. I'm starting a class next Saturday that runs from 8:30 -5:30. I'll have to do all my running on Sunday. I don't want to think about it. I won't.

You'll do great in the new gig, Shazza! Beginnings are always stressful. Just be open to anything that may come your way. Oh yes, nap frequently! I get more done in the afternoon if I get a quick 20 to 30 minute nap. I'm all for seista!

Hope it all panned out the way you were hoping (and the dogs got their bath)!

I tend to laze around on Saturday morning and then dash about like a mad thing trying to cram everything in on Saturday afternoon.

Shaz, when you get a sec, I've got an award for you over at Blasts From the Past.

Are you kidding me? I don't get anything done on the weekends with my hurricane home!! I like the new look on the blog!

No napping. No napping. I'm a task person and do well when I have a list of things to do, but in your case, definitely no napping.

Good luck.
